Mental Health

GNYHA helps member hospitals and health systems care for patients in need of mental health treatment. We advocate for critically needed funding to help alleviate the behavioral health workforce shortage and to increase capacity to care for a burgeoning patient population. GNYHA also advocates for streamlined regulatory requirements and legislation that supports our hospitals’ missions to compassionately treat this vulnerable population.
