New York State is requesting $13.52 billion from Washington over a five-year period to address health disparities and delivery system issues that the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted and intensified. GNYHA and the health care workers union 1199SEIU will play an integral role with the Biden Administration to ensure that any funding request approved by the Federal government meets the needs of our members, their workers, and the communities they serve.
