Other Behavioral Health

GNYHA supports member hospitals and health systems on the integration of behavioral health and primary care services. We advocate for streamlined regulatory requirements and support efforts to reduce unnecessary admissions for individuals with behavioral health disorders. GNYHA also helps members establish screening, assessment, and discharge planning procedures and implement best practices to address the emergency mental health needs of individuals presenting to emergency departments.
