GNYHA is pleased to release the inaugural edition of the GME Data Brief. This new publication will highlight important graduate medical education (GME) and physician workforce data findings for our members and other interested stakeholders.
The July 2020 edition of the Data Brief includes information on the distribution of GME sponsoring institutions in different regions of the county. Future editions will focus on the distribution of residency training programs within different areas of the country and characteristics of specific specialty programs.
