Kristin Stephens joined GNYHA’s Government Affairs, Communications, and Public Policy team in 2011. Ms. Stephens’ primary responsibilities include fielding press inquiries and working with reporters seeking information on member hospitals and the health care industry. She also manages a number of public affairs and communication projects. Prior to joining GNYHA, Ms. Stephens held several public affairs positions in the New York State Legislature over a nine-year period. Ms. Stephens earned an MPA in Policy and Administration with honors from John Jay College and a BA in Political Science and Communications from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
