Alyssa Besser joined GNYHA in 2024. She is responsible for supporting numerous ambulatory care and population health initiatives, with a particular focus on ambulatory care transformation, delivery system reform, and social determinants of health. Before joining GNYHA, Ms. Besser worked with the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and in multiple ambulatory care clinical settings. She earned a BS in Human Biology and Society from UCLA and an MPH in Population and Family Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
