GNYHA to Host “A Year in Review” of Telehealth

GNYHA will host a June 23 webinar that will review how hospitals have progressed at implementing and integrating telehealth services over the past year. The program will examine various telehealth topics—including adoption, policy, reimbursement, and technology—both pre-COVID-19 and during COVID-19.

NYU Langone Health’s Viraj Lakdawala, MD, Medical Director of Virtual Urgent Care, and Rochester Regional Health Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer John Glynn and Director of Telemedicine Cole Nardi will discuss their telehealth program operations, including infrastructure, changes spurred by COVID-19, and expansion plans. Lauren Broffman, PhD, Associate Director, Clinical Research, at Ro, a healthcare technology company, will discuss leveraging technology to create equitable telehealth. Dr. Broffman and Peter Fleischut, MD, Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, NewYork-Presbyterian Health System, will highlight their perspectives on the future of telehealth and virtual care.
