GME Funding

The Association of American Medical Colleges projects that the United States will face a shortage of as many as 139,000 physicians by 2033. Graduate medical education (GME) funding reimburses teaching hospitals for the additional costs they incur training physicians. GNYHA strongly advocates for legislation that addresses the looming physician shortage.
