Sahar Tirmizi joined GNYHA in 2021. Ms. Tirmizi provides research support and data/policy analysis on New York State and New York City topics that impact GNYHA members, particularly during the State legislative session. Prior to joining GNYHA, she worked at Kaiser-Permanente to improve informed-consent practices and implement recommendations. Ms. Tirmizi earned an MPH with a concentration in Health Services Management & Policy at the Tufts School of Medicine.
