The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) health care worker parking permit program ends today. DOT asks that health care facilities and health systems share the attached DOT Healthcare Permit Termination Flyer with the appropriate staff.
Beginning tomorrow (July 1), health care workers will need to obtain parking in the City according to standard DOT regulations. Any violations received using the COVID-19 health care permit beyond June 30 will not be dismissed and must be paid.
GNYHA urges member hospitals, health systems, and continuing care facilities that received the parking permits to immediately communicate this notice to employees with permits.
