GNYHA has announced new resources as part of its role as the State-designated regional COVID-19 vaccine hub for New York City. As regional hub, GNYHA works closely with the New York State Department of Health and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to resolve issues on behalf of enrolled vaccinators and communicate important information to vaccinators and the public. GNYHA also supports community education and outreach efforts.
GNYHA recently launched a new website, https://www.vaccinehubnyc.info/, which includes the New York City COVID-19 vaccine finder tool, vaccine education materials, and provider guidance. The website also includes a calendar featuring vaccine-related events that are open to the public. Organizations can request inclusion of their events in the calendar by e-mailing email@example.com with the event name, date, time, and registration information.
GNYHA has also developed a weekly hub newsletter to provide timely updates on the COVID-19 vaccination effort in New York City. Enrolled vaccinators can sign up here and community-based organizations and the general public here to receive hub updates and vaccine information. GNYHA’s hospital-related communications on vaccine distribution policy updates continue to be available for member hospital access. Members may also subscribe to receive vaccine hub communications.
