DOT Parking Permits for Health Care Workers to Expire on June 30

June 27, 2022

The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) will end its City health care worker parking permit program on June 30, as scheduled. The permits, which were initially issued in March 2020, have been extended several times. Following the program’s expiration, health care workers will need to obtain parking in the City according to standard DOT regulations.

GNYHA thanks DOT and the de Blasio and Adams Administrations for facilitating this program over the past 28 months.

GNYHA urges member hospitals, health systems, and continuing care facilities that received the parking permits to immediately communicate this notice to employees with permits.
