With the worldwide spread of COVID-19, many hospitals are shifting toward pandemic planning. GNYHA will begin to hold weekly calls to help members navigate the many complex issues associated with this response.
This weekly call will be an opportunity for senior clinical leaders to share information about various issues, including supply conservation strategies, staff communication, and patient surge including the use of alternative care sites. A secondary objective will be to identify issues for which hospitals need further guidance or assistance from public health or emergency management authorities.
Each hospital or health system member should designate a senior clinical leader responsible for the COVID-19 response to participate in this call series. Because these will be working calls, all lines will be open and discussion and sharing will be strongly encouraged.
Calls will be held each Monday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Please note that GNYHA regularly shares information about new and updated guidance related to COVID-19. All bulletins can be accessed on our dedicated COVID-19 webpage.
