This month, GNYHA will offer INTERACT Caregiver Training for Interdisciplinary Teams online training sessions for frontline staff. The training sessions will be provided as part of Ladders to Value, a collaboration with 1199SEUI Training and Employment Funds and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Participation in the training sessions is free.
Target Audience and Structure
This training will be targeted at staff who work with patients or residents and/or in spaces where patients or residents may be present. The virtual training will be provided in a one-hour session (see registration link information below). An individual organization may have different staff sign up for different sessions using the individual links below.
Pathway Health Services Inc., a professional management and consulting organization serving clients in the long term care and post-acute care industry, will deliver the trainings.
The one-hour online training will detail the INTERACT Early Warning/Stop-and-Watch Tool and teach participants about early recognition of significant changes in a resident’s condition, including symptoms that may present as COVID-19 or other potentially preventable diagnoses.
How to Sign Up for a Training Session
Each one-hour training session is identical. Each participant should register for only one session.
