In response to the ongoing measles outbreak impacting parts of Brooklyn and Rockland County, GNYHA is hosting a measles update for member hospitals. Subject matter experts from the New York City and New York State departments of health will review epidemiologic factors, clinical guidance, and specimen collection and testing information. Participants will also hear from hospital colleagues on practices being used to speed identification and isolation of suspected patients, as well as other precautionary measures.
