To address the challenges presented by sepsis, GNYHA and the United Hospital Fund (UHF) are launching the STOP (Strengthening Treatment and Outcomes for Patients) Sepsis Collaborative. The STOP Sepsis Collaborative is designed to work with hospitals to implement standardized processes for the recognition and treatment of sepsis to improve care and reduce mortality attributed to this condition.
