Effective communication with patients and their families is key for optimal patient outcomes. GNYHA’s Communications Skills Training focuses on providing communication skills to hospital staff and teams, specifically targeting discussions with families following adverse events.
Disclosure and Apology
Building on the Communications Skills Training, the GNYHA also provides education and support for hospitals to conduct effective and timely discussions with family with regard to unanticipated patient outcomes.
