Zeynep Sumer, Vice President of Regulatory and Professional Affairs, is responsible for leading a number quality initiatives and assisting members on issues pertaining to quality improvement, health information technology, and health care workforce. Prior to joining GNYHA, Ms. Sumer worked for IPRO, the quality improvement organization for New York State, under a quality improvement contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Ms. Sumer holds a Masters of Science in Health Communication from Tufts University School of Medicine and a BA in Communication from Michigan State University.
