David C. Rich

David C. Rich has worked with GNYHA since 1993. Mr. Rich is responsible for all of GNYHA's legislative advocacy as well as public and member communications. Prior to joining GNYHA, Mr. Rich was the senior Federal legislative assistant for health and welfare for Governor Mario M. Cuomo in the New York State Office of Federal Affairs, where he advocated on behalf of the New York State government before Congress and the Executive Branch. Prior to that, Mr. Rich was a senior legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, handling health, welfare, and education issues. Mr. Rich earned his BA from Columbia University.
