Jay Fligstein joined GNYHA in the fall of 2005 as a Strategic Client Service Executive. In this role, Mr. Fligstein works with our member hospitals to review our contract portfolio (Regional and Premier Contracts) and to outline and develop supply chain projects and savings plans. He has also assisted with projects that join GNYHA/Premier technologies with materials management information systems, bringing full automation and integration to the contracting and ordering processes to help our members manage and reduce supply costs. Other responsibilities include coordination and support of our Supply Focus benchmarking tool. Prior to joining GNYHA, Mr. Fligstein worked as a material executive where he had operations responsibility for Supply Chain management. He led an enterprise-wide MMIS deployment, point of use technology implementation, and supply chain automation as well as multi-million dollar cost savings plans. Mr. Fligstein earned his BS in Health Care Administration from the SUNY at Old Westbury.
