Joseph Mislowack, MS, RPh

Joseph Mislowack is Regional Vice President, Metro New York and Long Island Pharmacy Services for GNYHA Services, a wholly owned, for-profit subsidiary of the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) and GNYHA Ventures, Inc.

Mr. Mislowack joined the GNYHA Services Pharmacy Staff in 2000. He came to GNYHA Services with extensive pharmacy management experience, having served as Associate Director of Pharmacy at Maimonides Medical Center for 10 years and, most recently, as Director of Pharmacy at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn for eight years. Mr. Mislowack also served as the GNYHA Services Pharmacy Committee Chairman from 1992–96. Mr. Mislowack is responsible for identifying and facilitating opportunities for health systems, as well as individual member sites, to reduce pharmaceutical costs through Premier contracts. As network facilitator, Mr. Mislowack manages the day-to-day exchange of information, contract implementation, and formulary standardization. Mr. Mislowack’s educational background includes completion of an Executive Management program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and an M.S. degree in Hospital Administration at the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Brooklyn.
