This briefing will focus on organ and tissue procurement requirements for hospitals. The program, "Commitment, Collaboration, and Compliance: Understanding Compliance Issues in Organ and Tissue Donation," is designed to help hospitals implement organ and tissue procurement policies and procedures that comply with current State statute, Federal regulations, and accreditation standards. Representatives from the U.S. Health Care Financing Administration, NYS Department of Health, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and New York Organ Donor Network will be present.
