Patrick J. Scollard has been named Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. His appointment became effective January 1, 2003, and he will serve in this position until a permanent appointee is named. From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Scollard served as President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, of St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Scollard succeeds Ronald R. Aldrich, who had served on the GNYHA Board of Governors.
